As with all pieces within the elements collection, the main design focus for this piece was to show off the beautiful natural characteristics of the live edge timber top. Whilst simplistic, the stained Ash base has been angled perfectly to ensure maximum stability whilst also maximising leg space. This live edge timber bench can be used as a standalone piece, or to complement our Elements dining table.

Designed by Forest to Home.
A collection designed around naturally beautiful live edge timber. Each piece has been finished to preserve the timbers natural details exposing a carefully sanded raw edge finish. Paired with contemporary, simplistic bases or shelving, each piece in the collection is a celebration of natural design and beautiful natural materials.
English forests produce the finest Pippy oak in the world. Pippy Oak, sometimes called ‘Cat’s paw’ Oak, bears the name because of the frequent small knots and cluster which pepper the board. Large knot clusters are generally referred to as ‘burrs’ and timbers with a high proportion of these large clusters are described as burr Oak. English pippy oak ranges in colour from pale straw to dark honey brown. The grain moves around the knots and clusters to create beautiful wild patterns and figures which are highly prized by fine furniture makers.
