A collection designed around naturally beautiful live edge Character Oak. Each piece has been finished to preserve the timber’s natural details exposing a carefully sanded raw edge finish. Paired with contemporary, simplistic bases or shelving, each piece in the collection is a celebration of natural design and beautiful British Oak.
Coffee table
A stunning raw live edge slab top held aloft by simplistic, hand turned Oak legs. The aim of this piece is to show off the unique art like characteristics of the natural Pippy Oak top. Every piece is unique and true one of a kind!
Dining table and bench
As with all pieces within the elements collection, the main design focus for this piece was to show off the beautiful natural characteristics of the live edge timber top. Whilst simplistic, the stained Ash base has been angled perfectly to ensure maximum stability whilst also maximising leg space.
Shelving unit
Part of the Elements collection, a celebration of beautiful live edge timber. This shelving unit has been designed to be leant against a wall. Live edge uprights like this are commonly found ‘off cuts’ in the workshop produced whilst making straight edge solid timber table tops. Reducing our wastage and finding a use for our off cuts is one of the key aims here at Forest to Home.
