Live-edge is a style of furniture where the natural edge of the wood is retained in its original raw state. The edge, holes and all the stunning gnarly knots are preserved as much as possible in order to create a unique one-of-a-kind piece of furniture.
Forest to Home offers two types of live-edge finish on our products. A ‘de-barked’ effect which retains as much of the live-edge from the tree as possible, giving a rustic feel or a ‘smooth’ effect which still retains many of the live-edge features but gives a smoother more modern finish.
