Working together
‘For the MB and Forest to Home collaboration, we have applied the design process we use for our architectural and interior projects. Design
‘The dovetail is the literal and figurative focal point defining the junctions of materiality and volumes. This definition resonates through each piece, connecting them as a range but also allowing each piece to be used independently. We have carefully selected a restricted palette of natural oak, marble and metal, that can be customized for each piece. Implying a structural connection, metal inlays are deliberately understated, perhaps only seen at a glance, inviting the eye to look again and explore the details more closely.’ – Alex Michaelis
